The dates of the 6th annual shootout are August 13- 15th- registration hasn't started but they are booking campsites.

Thanks for the heads up. I will call today to reserve my usual site. Nice sticker! Will the tournament be included with membership fee again?
Yes, Daren there will be a few of us there. This will be my fourth year going with the family. It's a great event for all.

Can you bring a pop up trailer? are there showers? is it a clean place, god knows we've all been to some dirty camp grounds. How are the tenting grounds? where do you launch the kayak?

Yes, you can bring a pop up. If you go to Joes link there is a map of the camp grounds. I take my R.V. and get a spot in the parking lots outter sites. Last year I was in 16c. There are some sites with power in the back of the field. The bathrooms and, showers are kept kleen. All day long there are staff working around the park. The place has great facilities. If you plan on going reserve your spot soon. I will try and get there on thte 11th, and stay threw the 16th. You can either launch at the beach, or the boat ramp.

Some times. It doesn't save any time. Just time behind the wheel. The ferry is not cheap either, but it's a nice break.
