Looking forward to spending a lot more time at Moriches, maybe working in a little clamming during slack tide. Mmmmmmm...clams and bass on the grill!

oh don't worry there will be plenty of Moriches trips this year!
right in those flats where Denis went on hie slay ride last year is great for clamming, I bought one of those rakes that break down into three pieces, it fits right in the hatch.

George and Carl can wrap it up but a licence is not required till 2011 as long as you have a NY state salt water licence and i believe we launch from one of the three spots on winter island.

Also some muscles on those flats. Good both for eating and flounder chumming.

Too bad these are so much $$$. Be cool for the KFA-NY members to show up at the NEKF Tourny with these on from the new Cabela's cat. Would definately make an impression! LOL

Sorry missed it. If you join NEKF you will get a discount on the tournament. I think $10. There is no licence needed, and we fished right out of the camp grounds. Not that we haven't fish in other places like Joppa flats. There have been plenty of fish within sight of the camp.
