Time: 7:30 – 9:30 PM
Where: Sport Fishing Education Center
Cedar Beach Marina (on Ocean Parkway) Babylon, NY

Directions:
From the East End: Sunrise Hwy. west to Robert Moses Causeway. To Ocean Pkwy (west). The Sport Fishing Education Center will be on your right.

From the West: Meadowbrook Pkwy or Wantagh Pkwy to Ocean Pkwy (east). The Sport Fishing Education Center will be on your left. You will need to pass the center, and then make a u turn and head west to access Cedar Beach Marina.

The meeting is free and open to the public.

This meeting we will be having a kayak rigging demonstration. This will be a “how to” workshop on rigging equipment such as a fish finder/ depth finder, anchor trolley system, flag pole / stern light pole, fishing rod holder and more.

For newbie’s or anyone looking to get into kayak fishing, this will be a very good time to see a fully rigged kayak and ask your questions.

KFA-NY Members who would like their kayak rigged please refer to the post in the members only section.

For those that are interested we will also have our plug raffle so if you want to join this raffle bring a plug and $2.00 for the raffle.

At this meeting you may also renew your membership or join the KFA-NY.

Hope to see everyone there.

Jerry's shop worked out great for Feb's meeting, plenty of room and... close by!
Any chance of considering it for future meetings, especially rigging with all the room?

I just found in my KFA box additional donations from our Holiday party that were not raffled off. We will be raffling some of these things off at the meeting plus I have some door prizes to give away to.

We will also be holding our special election for the open Board position.

DONATIONS FOR SPECIAL RAFFLE

I just talked to the president at Kayalu gear he is donating a Kayalite KLT-1050 Deck and Stern light for us to raffle off. You can see the light here- http://www.kayalu.com . We will also be raffling off a surf bag and plugs that was donated by Member Mike Milano. A bunch of custom flies donated by member Jaiem Fleischmann http://www.artsnflies.com and a Berkley big game gripper that was donated by a member Richard Gambino.

I also have several door prizes to give away.

I also hear we may have some other donations for our April meeting

By the time I got to the dinner the raffle had already been set up so the gripper I brought was set aside. I won lots of prizes though.
