hey George would the " Shimano Trevala 7' Medium/light mod/fast $75.00" be a good rod for live lining eels/bunker on my baitrunner ?

but the shimano is rated for 20-50 lb line and the st. croixs are rated only to 17 lb.?

whats your trevala rated for? i looked up Shimano Trevala 7' Medium/light mod/fast and it says 20-50 line rating if not sorry for the confusion...

You are correct, I have used this rod jigging bucktails for fluke and once in awhile trolling a tube. That being said I stand corrected and think it would work great for you. It is rated at 20 to 50 pounds.

Just let me know.

Awesome George i'll take it!! i am going out east to the fishing fleamarket saturday morning are you working at jerry's? if so i will pick it up then, let me know if thats good with you. One question it is a spinning rod right?
