man I just came back from the post office to apply for passports for the two kids and renew my wife's and mine, holly molly.....$380.00 plus a $50.00 dollar prepossessing fee and that's with having the pictures already done at Costco! seems a bit excessive just to prove that I am a citizen, what they don't make enough money from my taxes! |

My wife and got ours two years ago to go on a cruise and yes it is very expensive. That was the time when they changed the law and you supposedly needed a passport to go anywhere out of the country. Then right before our cruise, the government postponed the passport requirement because they had so many applications that they could not process them in time for the new year. Geesh... I have used it since for another cruise to Bermuda, which I loved.
The only consolation is that they are good for 10 years so yearly it is not that expensive...

my trip is at the end of June George and we are going to Bermuda too, cant wait! we really have not done much in the way of traveling since we started our family.
oh and kids need to renew every five years. |

| This may sound stupid but if you go snorkeling there bring CheeseWiz with you. The fish LOVE it and will eat it out of your hand. Not sure what part of evolution (not to offend Creationists) made them develop a taste for it but it works. |

yea but isnt it good for 10 years...now
funny story, $50 fee like 5 weeks wait just to have my wifes passport update to have my last name. We get it back and all it has was 1 line printed on the back page. And we still cant curb side or electronic checking because the name on the TKT dosent match the name on passport when you swipe it.

I have been a certified PADI diver since 86, on one of my first trips to the Caribbean I thought it was a good idea to line my booties w/ pretzel logs, I was soon swarmed by school of yellow tangs so thick that you could not see me in the pictures!as far as the cheese in a can, we know its bad for us but still eat it  ! |
