I remember a surf casting seminar years ago with Doc Muller where he said he likes & used xp.Not because they sponser him or give it to him, he said he buys it because he likes it. I just noticed in a catolog that tuf line also makes dura cast ( engineered for spinning reels)Looks like it has a coating on it. Anyone have any expirience with either? Pros or cons? I have always used power pro & never had a problem other than wind knots. Heard so much about break offs that I switched to suffix & had 3 break offs. Then I noticed a small burr on the penn 5500 spool from when it slid & fell while leaning on the truck. Only bad thing is the gold finish comes off. But never had a probrem with the alum corroding. Thanks Rick, good to know, I'll order some dura cast.
