we had lobster last year at the beach house and in the morning put the remaining lobster in w/ some scrambled eggs, onions and red peppers!

You guys are killing me with this thread. I keep missing this one because of summer camp duties that same week every year.

Looks like I may be able to make it this year.

Any KFA'ers still have room at their site?

Tried calling, but got answer machine. Guessing all is full though.

I'm full but they mentioned that they were going to accommodate more campers or you could rent a RV site and set up a tent

Goerge I booked my ferry for 7am on the 12th and 2pm on the 16th

Just an FYI


winter island rules


RESERVATIONS
We will begin taking reservations for the 2010 season on January 1, 2010.





· Shower rooms are open 24 hours a day


· NO DISCHARGE OF WASTWATER ON THE ISLAND. Dumping facilities are available, please see staff for dumping schedule.


· Park gate is locked at 10pm, and will not reopen until 7am the next morning.


· In case of late night emergency, contact Site 9 located ato the right of the Office/Store.


· Gear left on site after 11am check-out is subject to removal and disposal.


· CHECK-IN IS 1-9pm. CHECK-OUT IS AT 11am. Please check in and out with the office.


· Anyone arriving after 9:15;m will not be able to set up at your site. RV campers will be given a parking space in the parking lot for the night, and must continue to the office to check-in the following morning.


· Quiet time is 10pm to 7am. No loud noise or generators.


· No ground fires allowed


· Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made 7 days prior to arrival date for full refund, minus a $15 processing fee.


· Please respect fellow campers - do not walk through campsites.


· NO ANIMALS ALLOWED IN TENT SITES. No pets allowed on beaches at any time. Pets in RV's must not be left unattended and all pet waste must be disposed of in barrels.


· Public consumption of alcohol is prohibited and subject to non-refundable ejection from the park.


· Locate vehicles as directed by Staff. Tent sites do not have any vehicle access. One vehicle per site, additional vehicles will be charged $5 per night, and must register with the office and obtain proper parking pas.


· Limit 3 ADULTS OR 1 FAMILY (max 7) per tent site. 2 tent maximum per site.


· All guests to campsites must be off Winter Island property by 10pm.


· Vehicle registration and ID required at checkin.


· Tents must be moved on the 3rd day to avoid grass burning.


· Winter Island Park and its Assignees are not responsible for property loss or damage. Lock up cars please!
